Unleashing Inner Narratives: A Workshop on Breath, Writing and Self Explore

Embark on a transformative journey through breath practice and creative writing to release your inner self and reclaim the power of your personal narrative. This workshop begins with breathing exercises, designed to ground and connect participants with their inner worlds. Through guided theatre games, you’ll warm up and step into the shoes of a character, opening the door to empathy and imaginative exploration.

Creative writing exercises will guide you to delve into personal experiences, unearth forgotten memories, and harness the storytelling tools that empower you to shape your own history. You’ll engage in free-writing practices, allowing words to flow unfiltered, and use breath to support your creative process. Through theatrical techniques, you’ll craft and inhabit a role, culminating in the creation of an autobiographical piece for your character—a unique blend of fiction and truth, reflecting your insights and emotions.

This workshop provides a safe and inspiring space for self-expression and discovery. Whether you seek a deeper connection to your creativity, a renewed sense of agency in your personal story, or simply the joy of creative exploration, you are welcome to join us.

Practical Details:

  • Wear comfortable clothing suitable for movement.

  • Bring a notebook and pen for writing exercises.

  • No prior theatre or writing experience is required—just an open mind and a willingness to explore.
